devon roof gas strutts

Hi my 1980 devon camper the roof struts are knackered does ant body know were i can get replacements from

Hi,

I had the same thing. Was advised to get mine from SGS engineering. If you take a look at my earlier posts you will see the spec that you require (assuming it is the same roof I have on my 1982 devon - should be). They were about £30 each i think and a pain to fit. Requires a friend to push the roof up from the inside to its max and then you outside with a ratchet strap and a persuader of sorts.

Makes a huge difference once it's done though.

I used SGS engineering to replace the gas struts on my Poptop. I was very happy with the results. :ok

I didn't even know the specs, I just sent them an old strut and they matched it.
1982 T25 2.0L Aircooled(CU) with Twin Solex's No idea what version/type of camper conversion
