I'm going to re do the wire from zig, stereo, amp, solar a new under seat fuse box then to battery.

What wire should I use?

I currently have single core from twin and earth I had at home when I did some sockets.

You need to check the current drop off is okay with the size of cable you're wanting to use. There's a good guide and a handy calculator here:

I've just been doing some wiring for the rear fog lights on our van in 1.5mm2. I did think about using domestic single core, but I wasn't sure how it would perform in high temperature situations e.g. in the engine bay, near the exhaust, so I ended up getting some Tri-Rated cable like this instead:

You aren't using household solid wire are you - that isn't suitable as it soon work hardens and fatigues especially at terminals due to vibration. Flexible wires only.
