exhaust advice!

Post by saviogimmi »

Mine is on its last legs!!! I need to replace but my van has had an aef conversion and my current exhaust looks like a bodge of all sorts of parts!
I have a 1.6 n/a down pipe but it looks like a 1.6td box? with various size pipes wedged in to fit it together. What is the best replacement I need to keep the downpipe as I have the 1.6 manifold, will a new 1.6 backbox do the job ok?

If your looking for something a bit blingy then the Brickwerks Stainless is a nice bit of kit. Mine is a 1.6td. (£413.70 )

I use a standard 1.6 exhaust with my AEF. It's fine.
1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.

Thanks love the stainless but bit too much at the moment! Cool I thought the 1.6 would be ok!

You could get a 1.6 exhaust box that's made from stainless-
