Filling the gutters arround the hi top

Hi,

My hightop sides wabble a little and its come up at the front above the windscreen. The garage said to fill the gutters and front with a sealent like has been done on the Wastfalias.

Any idea which sealent he was talking about?

You should use a good water proof sealant/bond as a temporary job. Sikaflex seems to be used a lot just not sure exactly which one. But it is generally advised to investigate further when possible. You may well find the metal is rusted and needs repairing and that's why the roof is coming loose.

Use sikaflex 512 = as good as any and you can get it at Go Outdoors

But check out the cause as said above. The old sealant breaks down and you get capillary action sucking water out of the gutters and rust is the result can be quite bad look at the photos on this thread...
