aaz engine number.

Hello everybody.
I cannot find my engine number on my aaz engine so i can update my v5 form.Can any one help please.

Well, I've found some numbers below number one injector on my AAZ looking down on my engine,just to the right of the flat bit below number 2 injector.these are big numbers which are 242 4,then below them on flat round faces there is number 2 and number 1,could this be my engine number.These nothing on the flat face below injector no2.

The engine number should be on a machined surface just below the head gasket level to the left hand side of the water outlet from the cylinder head above the oil filter housing,hope that makes sense

Thank you for that fella. But the only numbers I've got are 242 4, in big numbers just below the head gasket.

I am wondering if you can put this down with the cylinder head number, which I think is at the cam belt end just below the crank case cover. Then put this on your V5 as your engine number. Would they accept this do you know?

Have you got a picture of what your looking at as that isn't the engine number I recon,the engine number will be six numbers

I phone DVLA up ,they say that I've got to take it to my local garage and get them to find the engine number with a covering letter stating that this is the engine number,I suppose for proof.cheers
