I think the reason you've not had any replies on this is that those are a lot of questions in one. Easy? depends what guages you use and what you use as senders. Best bet is to use the search function and look up each in turn. No shortage of rev counters on ebay. Some have had great results on rev counters for under a tenner but then theres sizes, the type of 'pod' you use to mount them and do you really need any of them anyway. Either way, its been asked a lot so the information should be there if you search. There isn't anything that is instantly plug n play.

If your asking then I'd guess your experience is limited so it's not going to be easy.
If you have some basic diy and wiring skills then it's possible.
Starting with rev counter, you need a feed from the coil negative to the front, this is in the wiring in later vans but not in early so you need to run this wire from rear to front, it needs to be done well in sleeving or you risk it being damaged.
Next you need a rev counter in a pod, this needs to pick up ignition 12v, ground and a side light feed for night time illumination, it needs fitting to the dash.
oil temperature or water temperature you don't say?
Oil pressure guage, two types.
First is electric with a sender at the engine and a guage at the dash, again needs a wire run from engine sender to front, the sender needs to be mounted with a remote t piece pipe along with your existing oil pressure switch, this wires to the guage up front which also wants 12v ignition power and ground and illumination.
Second oil pressure guage option is a wet guage that also needs a t piece with your existing switch but this has no sender it works off an oil pipe under pressure to the front, needs to be sealed well or you may loose oil pressure, i think you have a night time illumination connection also
Are you still up for it?

Stick with a voltmeter, its the only really useful thing I found to mount up front. Having owned probably 35 Volkswagens, I soon discovered that life is a lot less worry if you have only the important guages to look at. The VW Beetle had that from the word go and most models were still around 30-40 years after other cars had been crushed - with their many guages. Yes, you'd know your oil pressure etc but you'll be forever looking at the things. It can get obcessive. Not saying its wrong, or that you shouldn't, but its lot of work and expense when you can put your money into something of far more use like brighter lights.
There was a whole thread somewhere on major dash changes that incorporated extra guages but I've never seen a mod yet (DIY or commercial) that I liked the look of.

I think a rev counter is useful, I used to drive in third alot by accident
I'm fitting an oil pressure guage but only becuase I have reason to be concerned of low pressure and I want to monitor it ( otherwise I woulld not bother)
I fitted an air fuel guage but only because I have lpg and its the only way to tune it.

Mine used to be like that until I started using that ally bubble wrap everywhere. Final job (with dash out again) is to fit a lot more insulation at the front.
