Dash Upgrade (Syncrosports)

Post by Trundler »

Has anyone fitted one of these? It looks like the answer to my prayers cos mine is knackered! As we all know, the standard dash panel is very poor quality and prone to faults. I'm tempted by this upgrade but am a bit worried about how easy it is to fit and how well it works.

Will suit those with bigger engines as speedo goes up to 160mph. Can just manage half of that. :D

I may have to go for one, its that or the Gowesty kit to repair my pcb, but based on prices this seems slightly better value but slightly more work and will modernise the dash.

Tempting.

Very easy, you'll have a lot less stuff to connect to it seeing as yours is a mechanical td. Mine has MFA, immob, OBD2 ect ect.
I'll dig out a couple more pics in a minute.

That looks brilliant! I'm quite tempted by the MFA option but really, I'll just be glad to have working temp and fuel gauges! A rev counter would be a nice upgrade as well though...

After literally years of messing with the standard instruments, non-functioning gauges etc, I've finally taken the plunge and gone for Syncrosport's dash upgrade. It's not exatly cheap at around £300 including the speedo sender but what a transformation! It's quite surreal, driving along looking at modern blue-lit clocks and all gauges working... rev counter too!!

I have a little bit of finishing off still to do but I will then post some pics - worth every penny. :ok

I like the idea to get a rev counter rather than spending loads on 2nd hand rev counter for the original dash as they are so expensive.
