Ok, so I've only just noticed I don't have one!
There's what looks like a square shaft sticking out. I guess that's for it?

Any pictures of what I should have please?

That second one looks hinged, but the non-genuine one doesn't.

What's the reasoning for that?

My original inner handle is the hinged one. Mine is a twin slider and the other side one was missing so I bought a cheapo non gen one as the hinged ones are expensive. That one seems a good deal though.

My handle has no hinge, why would you need a hinge?
