First time I've seen bonded windows on a wedge before!

Looks like flat glass. On a curved panel.

Looks weird to me, especially the bit stuck on the pillar before the sliding door. Each to their own as they say.

Yeah, got mixed feelings, maybe too modern for me, but it'll probably solve the leaky sliding window problem.
might blend in more if the door pillars were in black:

This particular bus doesn't have flush windows - it's the surrounding bodywork (up to the swage lines) painted gloss black - I've seen it in the flesh
