Surely fitting that as is will not achieve much - a couple of inches lower at the most, or are there other brackets to make it a lot lower?

A plastic step about 8" high from the pound shop would be more useful. I carry one around in a cupboard upside down so I can put stuff inside it. That way it takes up minimal space. Useful for old relatives.

we have a small caravan aluminium step for our Komet which is really handy, but this being unusual got me interested, will be fitting it on the syncro panel van which I am trying to keep uncluttered inside,if it does not suit will just resell as i got it cheap.
