hi all has anyone heard/used.... the brake specialists(girling calipers made by budweg denmark) on ebay looks a nice price what do you think???

Heard good reports of those. Not fitted them myself, but only because mine still work There are those that won't contemplate a anything other than well known brands but if that were true of supermarkets, ALDI and LIDL wouldn't even have a market. There are emerging companies in Europe that actually produce some very good remanufactured parts.

Well, theres another alternative. Rebuild your existing ones. You can get kits you know. Calipers tend to be like starters - there are rarely new ones - they all just get rebuilt. Thats what I'll do if mine start going leaky. As long as you work clean.

yer as long as you dont snap the bleed screw :? have you had a look ive found them now :oops: have a quick look and lets know ta :ok

Yep, they're fine. Think I'd baulk even at that cost but at least you can just swap them, job done I suppose. I imagine they just retap broken bleed screws and clean them out with an airline but then they're doing them all day long so used to it.. I've got a broken bleed screw on one of my front calipers but I just bleed via the hose and nip it up sharpish. :D

I bought some after failing to remove a stuck calliper. They fitted just fine, and been in use for 6 months without issue.

i know when i snap one in a motor bike caliper i knock a screw driver in middle of if and it was fine must have loosen it :roll: i know what you mean :run

I honestly don't know the prices of exchange units but I bought new pistons, seals ect from these people.
