Hi folks,
I have noticed some hydraulic fluid at the base of my steering column and I think it's coming from the clutch master cylinder. I have had a look on the wiki and can't seem to find anything on changing it. I may have missed it so I apologise in advance if so. In that case can the link be provided, or alternatively some advice on the process and difficulty level of replacing the part and wether or not I should street away from pattern parts and source from a certain supplier.
Thanks
Andy

Re: clutch master cylinder replacement
Easy job. Remove footwell mats/carpet or cover with dpm poly sheet before starting. Cover this with rag or newspaper.
Seal the brake res. cap with a thin plastic bag (slows down the fluid flow to a drip) Two bolts to release the cyl, have the replacement to hand before cracking the fluid connections and swapping over.
Pushrod self-locates, no struggle.
Have meths soaked rags ready to neutralize any spills.
All done in an hour.
PS Bendix/Honeywell cyl is identical to OEM and you can see where VW Audi logo has been machined off!

How helpful
. To bleed the cylinder is it just a case of taking the cap of the master cylinder and sickening of the bleed nipple? Seen this on gsf website. Is this one ok? Looks to have the logo machined off

What make is it? It does seem too cheap. The one on Brickwerks is OEM/Bendix and £56.
