Best way to fit Oil temperature sensor (Type 4) 2.0 L

Post by Westie82 »

Hi guys,

Any type 4 owners out there who have fitted an oil temperature sensor to their type 4 engine?

I am trying to work out the best place to put one, I have found a photo on the net of a temp sensor secured into the sump plate, would this be the best option ?

Thanks

Mark

I fit them to the oil filter head... I prefer them being in the oil flow opposed to on the bottom of the sump, which will be cooler with airflow
