rock and roll beds

Post by JamesF »

After 12 months of searching for a T25 I've finally got myself a 1982 Aircooled viking. Anyway, I have 2 little ones so need to put in proper seatbelts in the back before I can take it out. The current arrangement looks very home made and only has lap belts. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? I was debating binning off the bed completely and just putting seats in, then we can all kip in the roof. I looked through the wiki bit but can't find anything. I'm in Manchester so if anyone knows a company in the North West that would be great...

Any help appreciated,

James

I too am interested in this, can I just drill through and bolt in a new belt and buckle with a big washer or do they need to welded to strengthen the metal. Also do you need to tell DVLA and insurance if you are adding another seat with seat belt?

Cheers
Josh
