brake servo prob possible conversion

Post by jaber »

Hi Have searched the forum archives, brake pedal is v spongy and servo hisses when brakes are pressed if you leave your foot on the pedal and turn the engine off the pedal rises which points to an air leak in or near the servo, question is has anyone fit the servo from an e30 bmw is it straight forward or do I just get another vw one, yes the brakes them selves are in A1 condition new discs and pads new back brakes the lot, any thoughts?
