3 point rear belt installer, south East

Post by chuckle-bus-tom »

I'd like 3 point belt installing in the back and was hoping for a recommendation for somewhere in London or the south east.

Thanks!

I used 'Quickfit seat belt installers' in Stanmore to fit belts in my last camper. Nothing to do with the tyre company and are really professional. There is a tube station there too so you can drop your van off and get home again. Google them and give them a call. I like the name of their building too. Mr Quick had a sense of humour.

I used seatbelt services. They are a mobile service and they came to my work in Wandsworth. I'd definitely use them again.

Thanks guys! I have no doubt I'm sorted now. Got a sprog on the way and the self installed lap-belt that's there just won't do! I've got to get the van up to scratch because the wife has mused ideas of selling it

I used the Stanmore firm as well. They did start to fit both belts from one anchor but I asked for two , one goes through the cupboard. Wasn't cheap though. It didn't seem a difficult process-wonder if someone here has done it themselves

When they come to fit it let them know it's for a child seat, and they'll probably suggest fitting a short receiver. If the receiver tail is too long it can prevent you tightening the seatbelt properly with some childseats.

Oh, and we used Seatbelt Services. We fitted one kit as per Brickwerks ourselves ,and they came and did a second belt from the same side - no need to go through the cupboard at all.

I wanted one belt per side, I prefer the symmetry, just personal taste though.
