I am gradually reinstating the lower tinware that has disappeared from our 2.0 CU van with some new (genuine) bits courtesy of Brickwerks...
They come in a flat black finish - I can't tell if it is an elctroplate anti-corrosion finish, or an epoxy primer or what...
So, I was wondering whether I should paint them (probably with rustoleum) before fitting, or whether the factory supplied coating is upto the job?
Part of me says that a coat of paint can't hurt, but another is wondering if it is actually necessary...
Cheers
Mark
