Changing Headrest Colour

Post by johncccc »

I am just in the process of reupholstering my front seats and would like to change the colour of the grey headrests.

Ideally I would like to make them brown.

Any ideas about what type of paint, stain or colouring agent I could use?

Thanks.

Plastidip is usually the best for that type of thing. Easy to peel off when you get bored, but flexible enough to stay put.

Colour choices may be limited though.

Many years ago Humbrol used to do a plastic paint for pvc seats - I don't know if it is still available in some form though.
