It is hard to tell without looking at it - people fit the heaters and don't fuse/wire them according to the wiring diagrams. Do you get any sounds whatsoever from the heater when you try to switch it on?

Thought I would just finish this thread for completeness. ook the heater apart - burnt out control unit/ecu. Now replaced part but not cheap! Ken to ensure good future maintenance - any tips for longevity of the heater very welcome! Cheers
