throttle cable recommendations

throttle cable recommendations
Getting close to finishing my gti convetsion and need a throttle cable that will reach the inlet manifold, any recommendations as to what people are using?

Yeah thought about those, rang him and he wants to see a picture of the throttle linkage so he can send
the correct one out.I thought they were universl fitment. Which one did you use?.

To be honest I cannot remember, it was a couple of years ago and I don't have the van anymore, sorry.

If you go to your local push bike shop, most of them sell perfectly suitable cable off a roll. Then, if you go to a motorbike shop (or Ebay) you can buy a big variety of end fittings, some solder type, and some solder-less (screw locking) type. This way it should be quite easy to make one up. I have done it in the past and the bonus is it works out cheaper.

Mmm!! Also thought about that as well. However my petrol cable is quite short compared to the diesel cable. Not
sure how smooth it would be.

My current van has this type of cable fitted, due to mine failing out on the open road, so an "off the wall" solution was needed. It has been like that for years now and works fine, I mean, bowden cable is bowden cable 
btw, my throttle cable runs from the throttle pedal, all the way to the carb, at the back
There ain't much difference in going to the injector pump on a Diesel
