metalmick8y to the rescue....Help needed !

Post by sternal »

Help needed as leak has gone on for far to long ! So calling on metalmick8y

This is a follow up from this post https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=135450

Today I had a good its NOT coming from the latch screws firstly cos theres so much sealant water can't get through and secondly I drilled on the other side and had a look
Image

there is no sign of any water ingress of any type no runs no rust no nothing !
I also thought could it be the rubber door stop block, water getting behind, removed no rust no hole !
no rust or holes under sliding rail I removed the cover.
All rubber seals intact
It can't be running off from the inside of the wheel arch again bone dry and there is insulation there any type of leak and it would be soddon wet...dry
no holes in roof gutter

Im miffed !

It can only be coming up from underneath some how !

Do you have any thoughts ????

Have you taken the sliding door rail cover off? Lot of vans rot out there, and it does lead to that area. Awesome hole drilling by the way
