Nothing too techi just general do and don't tips please. Also anyone know of an headless unit I can run via Bluetooth/aux cable that can be controlled by my iPad thanks in advance

can't offer any help I'm afraid but i have also been thinking about a headless install for iPod etc, as the din slot in dash could be freed up for other uses, head unit in some cases has become a bit redundant if you only play from iPod etc.....

The ones in Aldi are quite popular.
Its a Maxtek model with Bluetooth etc
I picked one up before xmas at the local branch for £35, it also has the SD card slot which is what I will be using.

Found one of these above last week...USB, Aux in, Bluetooth music (A2DP) and remote control (change music tracks/volume etc on your phone/ipad from back seat)...grand price of £19.99. Well worth finding one even at full price, or a little more, next time they come around
