Rustoleum Pastel white L90D in small quantities.

Post by ghost123uk »

It's a shame you cannot get (as far as I know) Rustoleum Pastel white L90D in small quantities.

Many of us have small areas that need some paint, my engine bay could do with a tidy up for example.

I wonder if anyone has any left over from a paint job ?

Keep an eye out for anyone looking to do a repaint some time and get them to order an extra litre, or, if there is enough interested someone do a bulk order and decant it into smaller containers?

I wondered about that option. I bet Ralph knows how much it is and what the minimum order is ;)

You could use "poly" brushes on nice, available in small tins or large, you can get it from any car paint supplier, or if any body wants some I could get it and mail it, not sure how the price compares with rustolem.

Adam, excuse my ignorance but what is "poly"? I have not heard of that one, is it summat new? Does it have the strong anti rust properties that Rustoleum has?

Ah, yes, I bet that's it :)

I (and others) would still like to be able to source smaller quantities of Rustoleum in L90D for touching up "non panel" areas like engine bay etc.(it has superior anti rust properties, hence it's name).

CovKid (or anyone) do you know the best / easiest source of mixed L90D?
I might buy some and split it up, would just need to find suitable containers :?

If you check out the Avenue Coatings website you can order Rustoleum Combicolor 7300 mixed to a colour code in a one litre quantity:

http://www.avenue-online.co.uk/combicol ... 7566-p.asp

I shouldn't have thought it was worth the hassle of trying to sort out a smaller quantity than that.

Thanks for that link :ok

Not too bad a price for a Litre (£25) and I might be able to sell some surplus to other members, at a VW show (e.g. Oswestry) as you can't easily post it

I am now "on the case" :D
