Just picked up 2 of these, one for my van the other as a Crimbo pressie for my sons new car.

Looks like a good piece of kit and at £25 each cant go wrong. Thanks for the tip off.

With SD + aux to the phone who needs CDs or tapes. Just need to get some speakers in the van now.

Picked up one of these from Aldi Wellingborough when we were visiting Lindsay's family. I know people look out for these and they did have more than one! (Now they have one less)
Are we going on anything else?

Slightly hijacked thread but on a similar vein. I am looking for some good reasonably priced 9in speakers.

The problem i have is the existing ones are in the panels on the side of the van either side of the rear seat. There is not much depth there and all the new ones I have found are too deep. I am a great fan of Aldi but have not seen anything suitable in the store.

Any other ideas of where to get them?

Not slightly. Just start a new thread. You'll get more replies that way.

Now reduced but I guess that means "where available"!

In case anyone still wants one, they are still reduced to £19.99 BUT you'll almost certainly have to ask them to get one from their back store as most ALDI's are still trying to lose all the piles of Stollen and squashed mince pies. Hakuna (Leicester) and me (Bedworth) saw no ALDI display cases post-Christmas and thats where they normally put them. You won't see them on central aisles - just ask them to see if there are any bluetooth car stereos in back store.

Just bought a second one today. Where the heck can you get a good bluetooth stereo under £20? Even if you put one inyour workshop hooked to a 12v supply, its a bargain and they sound superb.

That's if you can find any staff working the floor to ask! I went but gave up. Bought some bagels instead ;-) I'll catch the offer next time, guess I'm happy with my non Bluetooth one after all . doh!

7pm onwards - not usually a prob then. Usually a member of staff will find the manager for you. Took him a few minutes to locate them but no big deal. Hakuna Matata did exactly the same at his local ALDI.

I managed to get one yesterday in the third store I tried...was last one (display), and prompty replaced my non-bluetooth one i got from them a couple of years ago. Well worth the £20 if you can find one, or even £40 if you wait til the next one - sounds great, much loder than my old one, streams my music via BT from my handset and remote control so the kids can sit in the back and skip the songs they dont like! (I haven't told them that yet). Had no audio problems for both parties making calls whilst doing 50mph in the van. Well chuft I managed to find one, gives me more reason to go make pointless journeys just to listen to some good tunes

Tried to get one, but nowhere round here has them in stock. If you ring the customer services number, they are happy to check the stock levels of stores in a radius of you. Nothing in 50 miles for me sadly.

If someone had a spare, or were willing to buy one and post it, I would happily reimburse and pay the postage to get it to me?

just a thought
cheers

Like with those very cheap radiators a while back, if anyone has an Aldi near them with more than one in stock, why not buy a few and sell them on here. I am sure no-one would mind making it worth your while and you would gets lots of brownie points.

I already have a similar one, but without built in Bluetooth, I would be the first in the queue !! (my nearest Aldi is 20 miles away :( )
