1Y conversion

Post by westfaliashop »

I've just picked up a mk3 Golf today with the 1Y engine in so I can replace the solid, but rather slow 1.6 that's currently fitted to the T25.

Before I start, I'm just checking there's nothing special/modified that I need? From reading up, it's a case of a straight swap with the exception of the oil pick up and sump needing changing, but that's it?
