The new year brings dreams of long hot summer days on holiday by the sea somewhere in our trusty old T25. It is been off the road now for 2 years which is far too long and we are determined to get it back out there this year.
We are of limited funds and space is of a premium at our house, as we have 4 VW's and an Eriba Puck in a 2 car space house, so working on the van is nigh on impossible, given that it needs welding,etc, which is not ideal on the drive.
I have toyed with the idea of a temporary garage, (the tent type that MachineMart do), but that would be a last resort and we really can't take the p%ss with the neighbours any more than we already are!...
Ideally, we have been looking for a workshop or small unit on a farm or industrial estate, somewhere as near as possible, but, having been let down by a friend on one we supposed to move into on 1st December, we are now back to square one, with nothing in the pipeline.
Does anyone know anyone who might have such a place available or would be prepared to share something? We really can't afford to use a professional restorer and want to have a go ourselves...
