Can anyone tell me how much work is involved in replacing my engine out of a manual gearbox van with one from a automatic van and or if it would be easier to change the whole lot . Thanks for any replys

The engine needs to be the same code ideally...likely MV but could be DJ or even SS engine code.....as these use different injection systems (digiphant or digijet) you need to ensure the engine is using the same as you currently have.
You will also need to swap over the flywheel & clutch but tha'ts no biggy.

Swapping 'just' the engine is the way to go as long as the engine letters match.
