did you read the link i gave you when you asked me the same question about my sterling?..WLC wrote:.ninja.turtle007 wrote:Just fit a battery to battery sterling charger and be done with it. When my leisure batteries have been used for a day or two the Sterling charger makes the alternator put 60amps at 14.8v nto them. This tapers off as they get closer to fully charged and then it goes into float.
Sounds good Ninja
When the Sterling charger is putting 14.8v into your leisure batteries, how many volts is it putting into your starter battery please
.

Yeah, I knew I'd asked the question before
I asked again because there can be problems when a battery sensing regulator is used to control the supply to more than one battery bank, so I am hoping that you tell us your start battery voltage before members here who have battery sensing regulators don't get their fingers burnt

Batteries were on float charge earlier when I drove the van. Leisure batteries were 14.8v and starter 14.2v.

Sounds an excellent system you have there Tom
Your 14.2v across your starter battery posts seems pretty impressive compared with other results show on this forum.
What's your secret for getting higher voltage across your starter battery posts than most please
