Hakuna Matata's dash shelf

Post by CovKid »

This has been mentioned a few times but thought I'd post a pic. This is Hakuna Matata's brilliant dash shelf. He does limited runs but the base (accent colour) can be similar to your external paint job. Its THE most useful thing on my entire dash and I'm very really pleased with it (mine is blue instead of mahogany). Ask him yourself if you're after one though. You can fix a light underneath it, or as he did, a clip to hold your torch or anything else you need close at hand.

Got to agree - you need something, given the stupid ski-slope angle of the original dash, but I find those big dash tidies encourage too much clutter!

Neil's dash shelf is great idea. Here's the one he made for me:

Neil does a very tidy job. Beautifully rebated and easy to fit too. He does need a door pocket in exchange. Bobster has one too I think.

They also appear at 4.48 in the "10 days in Wales" video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2YJGH2Cfzk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Finally, somewhere to keep pens and odds and ends instead of in the dash clocks!
