rechroming hubcaps

has anyone had genuine hubcaps rechromed,i don't want to buy inferior expensive repros that will be rusty in no time.would like to know what it cost and was it a good or bad idea.

Cheaper to buy the stainless steel ones.

Yeah good idea didn't think they made em in stainless.

had a quote from a local company who do an excellent chroming service but they wanted £140,not a viable solution.

Having stuff chromed rarely is - unless theres no other choice.
