Replacement exhaust

I've just got my van back on the road following a moderate phase of welding and painting... thinking that's it for a while, but it's proving to be a never ending project!

Its a 1986 petrol with a DG engine and the engine tone is getting a bit loud due to a blowing exhaust! The down pipe that fits between the cast iron elbow and the silencer is a nice rusty hole in it.

Looking at other parts of the exhaust, I suspect other parts are not going to last for much longer so I'm wondering about replacing the entire system with a stainless steel system. Does anyone have any recommendations of a good system to get?

For the time being, I'm going to patch the hole with a bit of metal, Gum Gum and jubilee clips Nasty bodge, but the £500 cost of a new exhaust is a big hit.

However I'm going to have to bite the bullet at some point so was wondering if anyone had any comments on this:

I fitted one of those this year. One thing to note... The flanges ( not stainless ) are thicker than the standard ones. I only realised after I made new studs out of stainless studding and fitted them to the engine. Rather than cause more damage to the head I ground down two of the flanges so I could get a nut on the stud. Apart from that I am very pleased with the results. Looks good and sounds sweet, not noisy.
