Eberspacher Asbestos?

This is the 2nd eber i have opened up and found a suspicious crumbling white fibrous material in the casing , right where the air blows through. Is this asbestos?

It is possible of course but when I stripped mine the material looked more like fibreglass wadding, the sort of stuff found in some exhaust systems..

I guess it could also depend on when the eber was made -mine doesnt look much like fibre glass - too powdery...

But then i'm no expert on either fibreglass or asbestos. Gonna remove it anyway.
