greetings all, my horn earth was removed during a failed elec power steering fitment recently. can anyone provide a pic or written details of how and where it goes from the spade connector at bottom of steering column.

Re: horn earth wire
From memory the brown wire pushes on to a spade on the upper section of the steering wheel column then disappears down to the horn. I cant remember which route it takes though.

Re: horn earth wire
Hi
If same as mine, '81 Caravelle, the horn unit has 12v supply from fuse and the brown is the earth (neg) connection when horn pressed.
ie, goes from the horn up inside steering column via brown with spade terminal and press-to-sound just connects brown to earth via horn ring. Thus all that wiring is just an earth connection.
