Sunroof / Westy Roof Mess!

Hello all,

The more I look at the bodged Westy roof on my Sycro, the more I want shot. Its been put on but never finished. The middle sunroof aperture has been cut out to gain access to the pop top but the canvas and struts were never fitted properly. I'm going to get shot of the roof but I wanted to get a sun roof to put back into the hole thats been left. Has anyone had a similar struggle.

I did gives you space to stand up and very good quality.

Aye I've thought about getting a different pop top but I'm not sure. I prefer the tin top. I'm looking see if someones breaking a caravelle or maybe get another sunroof similar to the back one

Matt when you get sorted what you doing with the old westy roof?
My syncro high top is kind of squashed and leaking, pug ugly thing aswell so looking to replace.

Aye if I do I'll give you a shout. I posted the same question on the FB T25 page and all I got was folk wanting the roof. All the proper westy roofs I've seen don't have the front lip where mine does. I'd mine just a different model? I've been looking at full length roof racks. Anyone know where to get good ones from?

It doesn't look like my westie pop top. The roof light is also wrong.

Aye the roof light has been bodged with lashings of mastick. I'm doing to dig about and see if I can find and stamps

Can't seem to find any markings on it apart from years of dirt! I wonder if it's an old Reimo pop top. It looks similar to the front
