Handbrake cable clip location problem

Post by soulfly71 »

Hiya folks, it's dumb question time again, just about finished replacing ALL the parts on the rear brakes, my problem is that I cannot remember where this part goes on the rear handbrake cable??
Hoping someone can help as I'm nearly done

There will be two of them, the go just after the balancing bar where the cables go through part of the chassis

Aaaaah I see! Gonna nip out n have a look, thought it would be simple replace the cable but ended up replacing the cylinder, backplate, shoes, springs, pipes etc on both sides as they were well gubbed!
nothing simple, but just about know where every nut n bolt goes on my van now, BRB unless I'm actually getting it sorted :)

Got it!! Two holes in the Chassis for the clips to go into, adjuster bar wound out and cables are now attached, just need to adjust the brakes now, wife will be in to assist as also need to bleed them, Thanks very much as I was growing quite delirious haha!! Cheers :ok
