Ok so I'm not great with electrical stuff, but I've just pulled the fridge out so I can see behind it in preparation of relining the van with some wood that's not 30 odd years old! In the process I came across this little white box with wires in and out and a couple of fuses on the top. Can anyone shed any light on what this is?
Cheers in advance
Tony

It is the relay to run the fridge when the engine is running I would imagine. Like a split charge relay.

I did think that but it doesn't seem to be connected to the fridge(even though I haven't had the fridge running) but the wires seem to go into a loom of some sort disappearing behind the units. I guess I'll have to trace it and see where it goes

Is that 240v cable at the bottom (white)? Basic 240v to 12v transformer> Small compact battery charger?

Open it, take a pic then close it up again. The pic will give us something to ponder over.

Good idea, I shall get some pics tonight when I get home from work and post them up, see if that sheds any more light on the situation!

Reminds me of last winter - went outside to get some coal and a mouse was just sitting on top of the sack. I did a quick double take as I never expected it.

Nah, Schrodinger's cat ate it. Unless it didn't.
