Flat road. Van in gear. Hand-brake off. Push van forwards.
If this is too difficult unbolt the fan cover and turn the nut in the centre of the fan with a socket & extension.

Jack one rear wheel up and try turning wheel in 3rd or 4th gear.

Or remove the fan guard and use a 13mm (i believe) socket on the nut in the middle of the fan

Hi
And thanks 4 replies, drive is on a slope and the idiot landlord has put 10mm stone down, If I was younger I would do it will do 3rd or 4th gear one, I have only got to go abt 30-40degrees,and im there.
have thought of taking of fan pipework.
wish there was a accsess door straight into fan, and make a locator tool foot to the centre of fan and three bolts, just a thought.
Thanks Jon Deb and old T25.

There is, the number plate flap at the back, all you need to take off is the plastic mesh thing held on with three bolts covering the fan and then you can put the socket pretty much straight into the center of the fan where the bolt is (its in the middle of the 3 bolts)
