Best thing to remove scuff marks from beige vinyl doorcards?

Post by MF74 »

Hi, I have beige vinyl T25 door cards, they are very good but have dark scuff marks at the bottom where people have caught their shoes on them getting in and out. Soapy water won't remove it. Can anyone advise what to try? Was thinking maybe cillit bang or would that be too severe and bleach/ stain them?

WD40 is surprisingly good at getting rid of marks

One of These http://www.amazon.co.uk/10-Magic-Eraser ... nge+eraser

I use them all the time on clients vehicles
You`re only meant to blow the bloody doors

T25- you were only supposed to weld the bloody sills

Thought I'd google it as it's a handy thing to know, and this useful website popped up. It shows exactly the same product as what Daisy just said above. Think I might invest in some! :ok

Thanks for the replies :ok

I will definitely be trying one of those magic sponges, they sound too good to be true! Dirt cheap as well, you can get a pack of 10 on ebay for £2!

I too can recommend the Dr Magic sponges they will remove dirt & marks that nothing else will. We got a large one from Asda that you can cut pieces off to suit your requirements.

I marked my cushions as I was loading them up from my upholsterer and it was him that used white spirit in front of me. Says it is the best thing for it.
