Removal of Rear Water Heater
Hi, thinking of removing the rear heater under the bed in the back. I've got a Propex under there anyway, and the thing takes up too much space. Whilst the electrics can unplug easily enough, I'm presuming I can't do the same with the coolant plumbing. Any know when I need to realign the plumbing to cut the heater out of the system? Cheers

Just blank the ends off, or connect them directly together.

Thanks, you're right I did not see that. Really useful to understand the way the coolant flows. Is there an easy answer to blanking them off?

i connected the two ends together on mine, its fine but the area under the seat gets REALLY hot now. Now have some straight couplings which i'll use to remove the T to the heater under the van, no rush at the moment as its winter.

Those Ts are quite sought after.

I just bought some 1/2" spigot couplings, looks about right. I'll wait for confirmation on that now before removing mine!

I used standard 15mm plumbing fittings about 9 years ago.
