Opening quarter light kits

Post by Big Bear »

Hi all, has anybody used these kits to convert from fixed to opening quarter lights?

Yep, see the topic https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=108972" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You will see I am working on that just now, well I say working on it, I will be when I get back home in just under a month.
In the meantime I have started a dialogue with the supplying company regarding exactly how they fit theirs, when I get a reply I will post up in original topic.

Regards

There a load is rubbish to be honest. They will never seal properly and will probably break whilst you are trying to get them to seal. Buy some decent second hand genuine items. You will regret buying these.

I don't quite know how to respond to that :shock:
I appreciate you might have had some personal experience with these frames (have you?) I did a search on here for just that sort of thing but nothing turned up.
A pity you couldn't have pre- warned us all. I sincerely hope I can prove you wrong.
The (original) rubbers fit the frames very well and I don't think I will have a problem fitting them into the doors, maybe I will. I can assure you if I do I will be documenting it, with pics as well.

We shall see. :ok
