Hi guys quick question, will a 1983/4 long handle slide door fit my 1981 air cooled bus as I've found one for sale hat I'm looking to buy but want to make sure it will fit

I am pretty certain it's the same handle up until 1985 at the earliest.
1982 Diesel hightop. 1Y engine. Still work in progress but running and taking us on holidays.

ignore the handles , picky of your C post and the striker will confirm
