I was just reading Baxters thread on tyre pressure stickers he sells for the serious restoration types. It reminded me that my van only has pressures quoted for 185s as used on steel rims. The Haynes says for 205/70s 30 and 36 but I use "full height" 80 profiles. I am currently using 38 and 43 and it "feels" and looks right but I would have to get a good few more miles under the belt to check for even tyre wear.
What do you reckon folks, what pressure would you think right for a lightly loaded Tin-Top on Carrats running 205/80/14s ? (note:- 80's, not 70's)

The Handbook lists 205R14 pressures for a Syncro, at 36psi front and 43psi rear. It has pressures for both syncro and non-syncro in 205/70r14 size, which are the same at the back and either same or lower for non-syncro at the front. Trying to interpret that suggests 43psi is about right at the back, may want to come down a bit at the front.

So am I correct in thinking that your reference to 205R14 size is the full height (80) type (not 70) ?

Yes, no profile in tyre size means they are 80/82 %.
