Hello, I bought my first van a month ago and had great fun with my wife and daughter trundling around Anglesey last week. It has a tin roof at the moment, but I've bought a Leisuredrive pop top and have no idea how to fit it. It has a riveted panel on the roof, so I think it's either had a pop or hi top in the past (or a sun roof) and I don't see a problem taking that panel off again.
Can anybody help please?
How to fit a pop top.

Normally depending on the roof they can be glued on, riveted or screwed on, a frame that is screwed or riveted to the tin top roof then the hi/pop top fixed to the frame etc etc.
If you have to end up cutting a bigger hole for the roof you have make sure you measure 3 times and cut once.

Cheers for that. I managed to fit the roof, luckily the big metal plate riveted to the roof of the van was covering a nice hole which I assume was for a sunroof. It was pretty easy once I'd figured it out, I finished screwing the canvas down tonight.
I do have one more question though, which gas strut goes where?
I've put the stronger one at the back of the roof and to the front of the pop top and the weaker one opposite. Is that right, as I assumed that the stronger struts would be taking the bulk of the pop top's weight.
