van has developed misfire

Post by Mk2Tony »

I have a 1981 2.0L CU devon that me and the mrs picked up about a month ago, we've done about 500 miles since owning it but after going out last night to pick the wife up it seems to have developed a mis-fire :(
only seems to be when its heated up a bit and mostly seems to be around half throttle, I'm going to change the plugs tonight along with the dizzy and rotor arm and plug leads.
I was just wondering if anyone else has come across the same problem, hoping it's not something serious we were planning on going away this weekend

cheers for any help

Does sound like one plug or lead breaking down when warm. Quite common.
