Reverse lights always on

Post by jacobjoe »

Hi all!

Just been trying to get my reverse lights working, the connectors had become unplugged from the switch so I plugged them back in... Not sure which leads went into which pins so tried both options, one position the reverse lights are on all the time the ignition is on, and the other I get nothing. I've replaced the connectors on the wires. Any ideas? :D

Thanks!

In case someone pics up this thread and has issues with sensitivity of the switch, you can sometimes get even new switches where the terminals are loose, causing reversing light to flicker when not wanted. A little of that quick-setting repair putty will usually solve it. In other instances a washer is needed to bring the switch out a little further.
