fitting a 6/8 way fuse box
hi all would like to clear/make neat the wire under seats.. so need some help.. diagrams if poss so here we go from battery run some wire size???

hi mate.....6/8 fuse box needs the one main feed, the size of this wire needs to be: the sum of all the likely consumers plus 50%.
Obviously, it is very unlikey all the consumers would be turned on together however you have to assume that they will be.
As a ball park figure, I would have thought 6mm2 (42amp) would be more than enough but as I say....tot up all the likely consumers then rate the wire 50% higher.

I have one of these fuseboxes fitted,it has l.e.d's that light up if a fuse blows,have actually had two,both have had the same problem of taking a fuse out and sometimes the l.e.d does not light up,do not know if they are cheap and nasty,6 fuses in each,cost just under 13 quid each,if anyone knows of better quality ones I would be interested to know
