Heater control knobs

Heater control knobs

Is there a trick to getting these things on or am I just being a knob.

Mine has 4 controls and I just can not get them on :?
Twist my nipple nuts and send me to Alaska.

do you mean they won't slide from left to right & vice/versa, or they have no effect when you do?

If you're talking about getting the plastic knobs back on the levers, try soaking them in hottish water first, oh, and when they're at midpoint.

You're not a knob though. Its a perfectly reasonable question. I always wanted to replace mine with wood or better still, chrome finish ones, but it looked like too much work. :D

there are two types BTW
AGG 2.0L 8V. (Golf GTi MkIII)

Ah Maybe that be the problem. I have 2 sets now, 1 from JK the other pre owned. Both are causing me problems.
