Hi people
I have a kenwood 45 watt per channel system in buzz and am looking at a speaker upgrade but not really into the tech side. I would appreciate any advice as to which speakers are the best to fit without having to buy amplifiers and such . as long as they are reasonably loud when I feel like pumping up the volume and sound clear.

If it aint broke don`t fix it !
Most heads are that wattage
get to halfords and use the radio wall to here what sounds best.
I chose Kenwood three way in the rear and pioneer two way up front
My rear speakers are above the bed under the top storage unit (high top) but 4.5 inch are all that can fit, i was thinking of putting then in the kick board under the bed.
I've been reading reviews on different speakers today and there is so much choice it's confusing .prices range from 18.99 in maplins to 100 pluss, i was thinking around 50 quid for the rear 3 way. do any of you think that's reasonable amount?

I stuck a pair of these in the back of mine http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111207064786? ... EBIDX%3AIT and they sound fine, but the only place I could stick them in a hurry was above the cab facing backwards so lose a lot of the sound at the moment unless you are in the back.
Separating bass frequencies out to a compact sub is the single next best improvement you can make. I used an active compact setup with a Blaupunkt THB200a. No longer available new but come up on El bay for about 80 to 90 quid. Superb sound and nice touches such as sound activated switch on, so you don't need a wired remote etc. Your head unit does need a dedicated sub out or line outs. I have one in the van and one in the Rocco
