Gear box might have gone. Any ideas on cost?

Post by Shem »

Currently awaiting news from the garage regarding my gear box, after being recovered on the way home form our epic recent trip to Whitesands last weekend.

Looks likely that its a problem inb the gear box not external of it. Any ideas on what a new gear box and fitting would cost? She's a 1.9 Petrol t25

Im wondering if it is an expensive one whether its time to whack a scooby engine and box in?

Ay advice appreciated, Main priority get fixed and get back out there :ok

you need the t3 gearbox even if you put a scooby lump in there unless you go down the reverse crown and pinion route and modify the scooby box
exchange box will be a grand upwards, rebuild yours properly maybe same no way of knowing till it's stripped
I'm booked into November
