VW Speedshop stainless exhaust query

I have fitted one of these to my 1984 early DG van. It's only supported by the studs on the exhaust manifolds though. Have I missed out any other fixing points?

It seems like a lot of weight and potential vibrations/loosening to be putting through the studs.

pretty sure mine is clamped around the saddles like the original,it does not move,considering how bad the engine used to wobble about with the knackered old engine mounts,it must have been strongly mounted

I've got one on my 83 van , its just bolted to the 2 exhaust outlets been on a year now with no problems , you could manufacture some sort of strap for support I suppose but mine's been ok
